Mind Body

The body responds to what the mind thinks. If you continue to think about a particular problem it consumes your energy and creates a state of inbalance in you body leading to dis-ease. If you think a thought long enough the body stores that emotion in your memory and in the body’s cells and then unconsciously when triggered by the same or similar stimuli the mind and body reactivate the feeling automatically without thought or consciousness.

Those of us with healthy mind-body connections are aware of their thoughts feelings and behaviors. They have learned how to cope with stress and problems that are part of daily living. They feel good about themselves, are physically healthy and have strong relationships. We call this balance “homeostasis”. Unfortunately, many others experience events in life that can disrupt the mind-body connection leading to negative emotions and physical disease. When patterns of disharmony undermine our energetic fields on multiple layers our bodies become stressed leading to illness. Illness is a message from our bodies to our minds. Our basic life force is depleted, our delicate equilibrium is upset and its effects are generally under estimated by us.

Since every individual has the right to be healthy and fulfilled physically and mentally when these inbalances occur it means we must go deeper in search of the answers to the questions your body is giving you. There are many paths to pursue.

I have studied and tested the energetic techniques below and found them to support the integrity of the whole. I have seen them impact positively the quality of life and restore equilibrium, thus health to the whole person.

Neuro Emotional Technique

(NET) is based on the concept that unresolved emotional trauma is stored in the body. Emotions such as anger, grief and fear may long affect us even after we have forgotten the event that caused them. Since our emotional reality dramatically affects our health using NET to identify these “stuck” negatively charged emotions and releasing them can normalize physical or behavioral patterns. NET is a mind body physiological approach to changing destructive or non-productive behavior.

NET is a highly effective technique in addressing emotional conflicts in the areas of relationships, family life, career, finances, physical health and other personal issues.

Neuromodulation Technique (NMT)

We all have the innate knowledge or capacity to heal. Sometimes this knowledge becomes blocked and we need help in removing these blockages. NMT facilitates the return of health by removing blockages in the internal control system of the body in a completely safe andnon invasive manner. This powerful technique has demonstrated that nearly any illness can be improved and often completely resolved through NMT protocols.
Some factors addressed by NMT are:

  1. Allergies – food, inhalants, drugs or contactants
  2. Autoimmune Disease – confusion of the autonomic nervous system that results in immune attack on the body’s own tissues
  3. Pain Disorders – errors in sensitivity settings of nervous system sensors for pain and stretch, causing erroneous perceptions of pain and tightness
  4. Toxicity – pesticides, industrial chemicals, heavy metals
  5. Exogenous Analogs – environmental chemicals that mimic our body’s hormones, and confuse endocrine (hormonal) function
  6. Unrecognized Infectious Agents – usually stealthy variations of common organisms that escape detection by the immune system
  7. Altered Genomic Patterns – body cells that have mutated from the norm
  8. Pernicious synaptic Patterning – errors in nervous system data recording that compromise regulation of body function

Total Body Modification (TBM)

TBM is a technique that is used to find the organ or area of the body that is stressed, determine why it is stressed and correct the problem by restoring balance to the nervous system. While basic chiropractic is used to correct the structure and influence the function, TBM corrects functional physiology (the way the body works).

Jin Shin Do

Jin Shin Do is a traditional oriental therapeutic practice of acupressure. Its working principle is that health is balance and dis-ease is a lack of balance of our vital energy. Through the power of the touch in Jin Shin Do acupressure, we can experience a new and wonderful state of energetic balance – a balance which pervades the whole of our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual states of being.

By releasing ourselves from rigidities and blocks by becoming centered in our spirits and balanced in our energy flow we re-balance structurally, energetically, mentally and emotionally. Jin Shin Do helps one learn to transform rather then repress bad feelings leading to a more positive and pleasant way of life. Literally translated, Jin Shin Do means “the way of the Compassionate Spirit”.

The technique is simple and relaxing. While a patient is lying comfortably on a table the practitioner holds various acupressure points to reestablish the normal balanced flow of “Chi”(energy) while the patient turns deep inside of self to process what he may be feeling. When the session is complete the patient feels a body mind reconnection or rediscovery with which he had lost touch.

Reiki

Reiki is channeled energy involving the laying on of hands transmitting universal life force. It has been documented throughout history that a life energy continuously flows through every living being. Reiki acts to correct and eliminate both chronic and acute conditions by gently and powerfully creating balance within the systems of the body as a whole.
